WANTED quick smart Scouts,
 |
|
Are you quick and smart enough for the JUBI-game?
The JUBI-game is a multipurpose gadget, you can play your reaction time test, but ..... you are also clever enough to solder it together?
The JUBI-game is a electronic kit to build yourselves. You have to solder the kit together yourself, but if the task succeeded you have a gadget that .....
... .. has slt;/span>tandard 4 different lighting effects, a response rate tester, and if you are fast enough to win the JUBI-game, you get rewarded with a spectacular light!
Do you dare?!

Proudly the JOTA-JOTI Service Circle presents the latest draft of the construction package for the JOTA-JOTI 2010. Our designer Jeroen stepped on a path to a whole new development. For the first time in years there is now a construction kit with a micro computer. So there is a whole bunch of light effects and even a game, and the reward is all about 100 years of Scouting, true the "100-in-the-sky" effect.
With this PCB a scout can indulge himself fully by playing with it, and the building isn`t any more difficult than the versions of the previous years. What can this kit do then:
Here below is a overview of what the JUBI-GAME can do. But you can also take a look here to see a simple explanation how it works, and here you find a more detailed flow of the working

Reaction-rate tester

the LED bar indicates your reaction time. This is the time elapsed between the illumination of the LED and the Start button is pressed. The time you can tell by adding the numbers above the LEDs are This number is your reaction speed in milli-seconds. For clarity, a milli-second is one-thousandth of a second, ie: a thousand milli-seconds is one second. The maximum time that can be measured is 1275 milliseconds

The JUBI game consists of a series of reaction tests. In the first tests your reaction time within one second lie.At last you need to react within 240 milli-seconds! If you manage to react quickly enough and you win the game, then all LEDs will flash very rapidly. After a few seconds you will automatically go to the "100-In-The-sky-light effect.
